Role Breakdown & Everyday Tasks
The core of the job is managing relationships with suppliers and customers within the feed and food industry. You will negotiate contracts, secure the best raw materials, monitor margins and spot trends to keep ahead of the competition.
Some daily tasks include following up on orders, coordinating sales with production schedules and keeping accurate reports on contracts and orders. Excellent MS Office and ERP skills are required, plus fluency in Dutch, French and English.
Strong negotiating skills, strategic thinking and a real customer-focused mindset will be key. If you have HACCP or food safety knowledge, you’ll get even further ahead. Experience is needed, ideally a few years in a similar role.
